Fluid control for laboratory diagnostics

Precise management of liquids and gases is fundamental to measurement stability in diagnostic and analytical laboratory equipment. At analytica 2026, from 24–27 March in Munich (Hall A1, Booth A1.434), Parker Hannifin will present fluid control technologies designed to support medical diagnostics, biotechnology and analytical instrumentation.

Fluid and gas stability in analytical workflows
Analytical and life-science instruments depend on repeatable delivery of small fluid volumes and tightly controlled gas supply. Variations in pressure, contamination or flow consistency can directly influence measurement accuracy, calibration intervals and system uptime.

Parker Hannifin’s fluid and gas handling solutions are engineered to maintain clean flow paths and consistent operating parameters over extended periods. These characteristics are critical in regulated laboratory environments, where reproducibility and traceability underpin reliable analytical results.

From miniature components to integrated fluidic subsystems
The portfolio includes miniature pumps and valves for precise dosing, switching and media isolation in compact analytical devices. Such components are typically integrated into sampling systems, reagent management modules and detection chambers where low internal volume and accurate flow control are required.

Integrated fluidic solutions combine multiple handling functions into consolidated assemblies. By reducing the number of discrete connections and interfaces, these subsystems can lower leakage risk and simplify instrument design, supporting consistent assembly processes and reduced development cycles.

On-site generation of analytical gases
Parker Hannifin will also highlight analytical gas generators, including the Parker ChromGas Hydrogen and Zero Air Gas Generators. These systems provide laboratory-grade gases directly at the point of use, replacing external cylinder supply in chromatographic and related analytical setups.

On-site gas generation supports stable purity levels and controlled delivery pressure, reducing dependency on cylinder logistics and contributing to consistent measurement conditions. The generators are available in the United States, with introduction to the EMEA region planned. Complementary filtration, tubing and fitting solutions form part of the broader installation framework.

Supporting instrument development and lifecycle performance
The technologies presented address multiple stages of instrument development, from early prototyping through to integrated system implementation. By aligning miniature fluid control components, gas supply systems and filtration technologies within a single engineering ecosystem, Parker Hannifin provides building blocks for analytical platforms where controlled media handling directly affects performance, uptime and overall system reliability.
